George Pud Meusburger

George worked with my dad and brother many years ago. My dad could be quiet a hand full, but George always treated him with respect and I know my dad always appreciated that. He was really good to my brother Mike, he was a young kid trying to learn how to be a carpenter and George taught him a lot. My thoughts and prayers go to JoAnn and her family.

One of my favorite memories of Uncle George was at the Indy 500 in 1992, I think. It was a really cold day for the race, with a high in 30's and very windy. George and his pal Jerry Blessing would go down under the grandstand every so often and get hot chocolate. About mid-way through the race, George and Jerry emerged back up into the grandstands, and George had four Indy 500 seat cushions in his hand, that he

One of my favorite memories of Uncle George was at the Indy 500 in 1992, I think. It was a really cold day for the race, with a high in 30's and very windy. George and his pal Jerry Blessing would go down under the grandstand every so often and get hot chocolate. About mid-way through the race, George and Jerry emerged back up into the grandstands, and George had four Indy 500 seat cushions in his hand, that he had just bought. Before he sat down, he held them high above his head and announced loudly to the crowd there, "Not bad for a hundred bucks!" The whole grandstand in that area burst into laughter. It makes me laugh to this day when I think of it. I'll miss you, Uncle George! You were the best! Love, Doc

I have such beautiful memories of the good times we shared through the years. I'll always remember our trips to the races, Jo, and the numerous fun times we had with our families. God's blessings to all of you. I know it comforts you to have had such a wonderful man in your life! Love & prayers to all of you!
