Maryle Franklin, 68, of Collins passed away Friday, March 23, 2012, at her home in Collins, surrounded by her loving family.

Maryle was born September 5, 1943, in Albany, Missouri to Beldon and Enned (Howe) Parks. On July 13, 1972, she married David Franklin. Maryle worked with Dave at Jon Top Distributing, a countertop business that they owned and was a member of the Maxwell Christian Church. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, reading and camping. Above all else, Maryle loved being with her eight children and their families, which included 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Maryle is survived by her husband Dave of Collins; her children, Cindy (Craig) Mitchell of Collins, Mike (Kristi Powers) Sexton of Woodward, Rhonda Day and her fiancé Craig Presley, Ron (Amy) Franklin of Sedalia, MO, Juli (David) White of Indianapolis, IN, Todd (Becky) Sexton of Collins, Reverend Doug (Nicole) Franklin of Trenton, MO, and Bob (Anne) Franklin of Nashville, TN; her sister, Carol Bridger of Platte City, MO; her brothers, Larry Parks of Albany, MO and Ron (Sandy) Parks of Charleston, SC; 20 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Maryle was preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson, Logan Goettsch.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada, 1418 Fawcett Parkway. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at the Maxwell Christian Church with Pastor Tom Lee, officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Collins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Maxwell Christian Church.

Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
