Danny Lawrence, 64, of Maxwell passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at his home in Maxwell.

Danny was born August 3, 1947, to Robert and Eva (Johnson) Lawrence. He served the county in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge in 1968 and was a member of the American Legion Post #249 in Maxwell. Danny enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, hunting and spending time with his yellow lab, Jake.

Danny is survived by his son, Jason (Meggan) Lawrence of Maxwell; his daughter, Gina (Kevin) Ericson of Maxwell; his grandchildren, Chase, Faith, Abbigail, Parker and Owen. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sandra in 1994; and his brother, Jack.

Graveside memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Maxwell Cemetery in Maxwell. A reception will follow from 11:30-1:30 p.m. at the Maxwell Community Center in Maxwell.

Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell is handling arrangements.
